Satisfy High School Requirements!
Do you like cats, dogs, horses, and other animals? Maybe
you have a green thumb and enjoy landscaping, floral
design, and working in a greenhouse. Students will work
with both animals and plants to become familiar with the
many different skills and challenging career opportunities
in the field of Agriculture. Veterinarian, kennel
technician, barn manager, aquaculturist, landscaper, floral
designer, and greenhouse manager are just a few of the
jobs in this endless career field. Students who complete
two years of this course with a C or better will meet their
Biology requirement for graduation. Students who plan
on entering a college program in biological sciences are
encouraged to take Animal & Plant Science. Students
can receive credit for Introduction to Veterinary
Technology at the NH Community Technical College
through Project Running Start.
