Satisfy High School Requirements!

Do you like cats, dogs, horses, and other animals? Maybe you have a green thumb and enjoy landscaping, floral design, and working in a greenhouse. Students will work with both animals and plants to become familiar with the many different skills and challenging career opportunities in the field of Agriculture. Veterinarian, kennel technician, barn manager, aquaculturist, landscaper, floral designer, and greenhouse manager are just a few of the jobs in this endless career field. Students who complete two years of this course with a C or better will meet their Biology requirement for graduation. Students who plan on entering a college program in biological sciences are encouraged to take Animal & Plant Science. Students can receive credit for Introduction to Veterinary Technology at the NH Community Technical College through Project Running Start.
