The Pre-Engineering program consists of a four year sequence of courses which, when combined with college preparatory mathematics and science courses in high school, introduces students to the scope, rigor and discipline of engineering and engineering technology prior to entering college.

The Pre-Engineering program is partnered with Project Lead the Way, a nationally recognized preparatory program designed to introduce students to the various facets of engineering. The program consists of three foundation courses; Principles Of Engineering, Introduction to Engineering Design, and Digital Electronics. These courses are designed to provide students with the foundational background and preparation to pursue an engineering career.

The foundation courses are followed by specialized courses involving a specific field of engineering and a capstone course in which students work in teams to research, design and construct a solution to an open-ended engineering problem.
