Start Your SST Experience!
Technology Careers allows students to begin their Career & Technical Education
program preparation. In this semester course, students will begin their SST
programs through related program projects, internships and field trips. The
course will give students the opportunity to begin their study of a career
pathway and learn about the technical competencies and related academic skills
needed to be successful. The SST competencies of communication, teamwork, ethics,
technology, leadership and related academics will be developed through class
activities and projects. This class is open to Grade 10 students and anyone
who has completed one year of high school. All students who successfully
complete Technology Careers will be selected to continue their Career & Technical
Education preparation in their chosen program.
