Seacoast School of Technology
Wright Start Preschool
The Wright Start curriculum focuses on enhancing the development of the whole child - the physical, social, emotional, intellectual and creative self. We believe play is vital to the young child's development. Through meaningful play, the child is able to experiment, interact and discover that learning is fun. Our curriculum stresses individual worth, cooperative learning and the celebration of diversity.

The school is staffed with certified Preschool Teachers, the Seacoast School of Technology's Early Childhood Education Teacher and the high-school students from SST's Early Childhood Education program. These students, working as student teachers, are able to gain the skills, attitude and knowledge required for successful entry into the field of early childhood education.

The preschool is named to honor the memory of Karen Wright, an active school volunteer and caring wife and mother.
